18 Doses of COVID-19 Vaccines Distributed to Panggang Island Puskesmas

Panggang Island Urban Village Health Center (Puskesmas), North Thousand Islands received 18 doses of COVID-19 vaccines for health workers in the region.

It is to realize herd immunity

Panggang Island Urban Village Puskesmas Head, Tri Lusmantoro conveyed, COVID-19 vaccination will be carried out on Thursday, January 28, 2021.

"Those who will be vaccinated are health workers who haven't been exposed to COVID-19," he stated, Wednesday (1/27).

He expected the first phase of COVID-19 vaccination for health workers can be a good example for residents thus COVID-19 vaccination program can run successfully.

"It is to realize herd immunity. After being vaccinated, health protocols should continue to be carried out," he asserted.

For information, today COVID-19 vaccines were also distributed to North Thousand Islands Puskesmas. As many as 23 doses were allocated for health workers in Harapan Island Puskesmas and 48 doses in Kelapa Island Puskesmas.
